This consumer products company has a complex manufacturing and distribution system operating in more than 200 countries.

Situation
An international IT group was charged with coming up with new processes for the packaging supply chain. After a less-than-successful first phase, they decided they needed a facilitator to coordinate activities for participants in multiple time zones, speaking multiple languages and using different systems.

Solution
The team hired Schechter Consulting to facilitate the second phase of the project. Schechter consultants clarified objectives, organized the process and created a timeline for the three-year initiative. They facilitated meetings and conference calls to 1) keep the group on track, 2) help prioritize, dissect and resolve complex issues, 3) ensure maximum participant involvement, 4) identify next steps and 5) recap decisions and assignments.

Results
Team members were excited, engaged and responsive to the Schechter team’s input and direction. The second phase was so successful, the third phase team specifically requested their services.
